Sherford's Lost Valley-Bertrum's Story

Bertrum is a tiny wild bear no more than 7" tall; he lives with others of his kind in a small wood. These tiny bears are called ****ers, and they've lived secretly in the area for many years. They've heard that humans; whom they call skinnies, are going to destroy the valley and build a whole new town.
Afraid they will be lost forever, their leader Barley Wise, listens to Bertrum's idea to save them by seeking help from a human child.
Bertrum takes on the task of contacting the child, and bravely sets off the next morning on an adventure that changes the lives of the ****ers forever.
